Summary

On April 25, 1954, at dawn, around 6:45 a.m. local time, in Coral Gables, Florida, a reliable observer reported about three white, round objects in formation. The objects reflected light and climbed quickly to the south-southeast at a high speed. The first object faded out, and the others faded right after. The whole sighting lasted about three seconds. The observer was a commercial pilot who appeared reliable. Air Force analysts considered a meteor breaking up but noted that no breakup was reported. Checks with air traffic control found no other traffic that might be mistaken for the objects. The objects remained unidentified, and the conclusion was insufficient data for evaluation.
