Summary

On December 11, 1955, over Colorado Springs and Denver, Colorado, three people saw one object in the sky. The Greenwich time was 1330Z. The witnesses included military and civilian observers, and all gave the same description.

The object was green with an orange trail. It was much brighter than a jet exhaust. They watched it for about three to five seconds as it moved toward the northwest.

The case is filed under Project 10073, the Air Force's official record for unidentified flying object reports. The card notes there was no separate case file. The Air Force conclusion was that the object was a meteor, as identified by an Air Force captain who was a pilot.
