Summary

On July 29, 1959, around dusk, an observer in Bellingham, Washington, reported a bright object. The sighting was reported through the Air Force's unidentified flying object record system.

The witness described a round object about the size of a nickel or quarter held at arm's length. It was very bright and a fluorescent bluish-white color. The object had two trails and faded out of sight. It was in view for about one to three minutes.
