Summary
On June 4, 1960, radar operators detected two large targets over the Pacific Ocean, near 33 degrees 50 minutes North and 144 degrees 25 minutes West. The targets were tracked on radar.
One target was estimated to be about five miles long and the other about two miles long. The two targets were about two to three miles apart. They were held on radar from about 90 miles ahead off the starboard bow.
This report was filed under Project 10073, the Air Force's official record for unidentified flying object reports. The Air Force noted the targets were evaluated as a weather phenomenon by the U.S. Navy.
