Department of War PURSUE File

FBI-UAP-D008, FD-1057-07, Northeastern United States, 2024

Northeastern United States·December, 2024

Declassified

Editorial summary

This FBI FD-1057 documents a December 2024 daytime site survey of a location in the northeastern United States where two FBI special agents had previously observed unidentified phenomena in November 2024. Agents walked a roughly two-mile marked trail around the area and left it to reach the water's edge to the northwest and north. At the spots where activity had been seen, they reported nothing unusual on the ground or at treetop level. They noted an old fire pit with no sign of recent burns and assessed that moderate tree cover would make flying a drone there at night risky. The form lists enclosed photos taken on FBI phones.
