MORI DocID: 1451843 [REDACTED] 30 May 1973 MEMO OF RECORD: SUBJECT: Call with Edward Osborne, Mr. Security Se[REDACTED] [REDACTED] Report of Statements made by [REDACTED] I talked with Mr. Osborne on 30 May about in- statements concerning remarks made by [REDACTED] at the Advanced Intelligence Seminar No. 6 during the period 4-24 Sept. 1971. Mr. Osborne said that fact that the office of Security had relations with the local police forces in the Metropolitan Washington area had been reported to the FBI in the Priily Jewels Memo dated 16 May 1973, but that he had no knowledge of the Yellow Case and had not previously heard of any Hong involvement in or connection with the case. He suggested that I go ahead and talk to Mr. [REDACTED] and get what facts I could from him, but that he also intended to talk to Mr. [REDACTED] himself. He remarked that Mr. [REDACTED] was a very good briefer, but inclined to be over-expansive at times and talk too much. [REDACTED] 4 June 1973 Careful again with Osborne. He had discussed an [REDACTED] and it was in the not only limited way by [REDACTED] which Osborne had two talks. He found obtained corresponding data the Affairs & US/ got from [REDACTED] and [REDACTED] - etc. Osborne said that he, in relation with the last given and the chief of his CS office to H. spent time to work with a counsel who stated were of a 20-minute period history.
