[REDACTED]

30 May 1973

MEMO OF RECORD:

SUBJECT: Call with Edward Osborne, Mr. Security Se[REDACTED]

[REDACTED] Report of Statements made by [REDACTED]

I talked with Mr. Osborne on 30 May about in-
statements concerning remarks made by [REDACTED] at the
Advanced Intelligence Seminar No. 6 during the period 4-24
Sept. 1971. Mr. Osborne said that fact that the office of Security
had relations with the local police forces in the Metropolitan
Washington area had been reported to the FBI in the Priily Jewels
Memo dated 16 May 1973, but that he had no knowledge of the Yellow
Case and had not previously heard of any Hong involvement in or
connection with the case.

He suggested that I go ahead and talk to Mr. [REDACTED] and get
what facts I could from him, but that he also intended to talk to
Mr. [REDACTED] himself. He remarked that Mr. [REDACTED] was a very
good briefer, but inclined to be over-expansive at times and talk
too much.

Careful again with Osborne. He had discussed an [REDACTED] and it
was in the not only limited way by [REDACTED] which
Osborne had two talks. He found obtained corresponding data the Affairs & US/
got from [REDACTED] and [REDACTED] - etc. Osborne said that he, in relation
with the last given and the chief of his CS office to H.
spent time to work with a counsel who stated were of a 20-minute period
history. On the latest call being reported to the DCT, as listing No. 5 and
subsequently in the family jewels memo of 16 May 1973.
