The OCR quality on this file is too degraded to support a reliable summary. While the checklist on page 2 identifies the observer as Captain James H. Burniston at Fairfield-Suisun Air Base, California, and pages 3-5 contain readable narrative describing his sighting on July 8, 1947 (traveling southeasterly at an estimated 10,000 feet or higher, rolling side to side with alternating reflections, observed for approximately 60 seconds), the remaining eight pages are so heavily corrupted by OCR errors that extracting accurate detail is not possible.
