Summary

On November 1957, military witnesses near Amarillo Air Force Base, Texas reported two or three red lights. A bright light on the bottom looked like a searchlight or flood light, and the object was estimated at 90 feet off the ground. The object passed over a car, then started upward and toward the west.

The Air Force concluded this was a probable aircraft sighting. This case is part of Project 10073, the Air Force's official record for unidentified flying object reports.
